Kase Armour 100 Magnetic circ. Black Mist 1-4

The Kase Armour magnetic circular Black Mist 1/4 filter, is specially developed for the magnetic Armour holder.
You place the Black Mist 1/4 filter in the holder, just like the CPL and round ND filters.
Black Mist gives a special effect to your photo or video, keeping the dark tones protected from this effect.
The filter looks like normal clear glass, but when you look more carefully you see, that the glass is diffuse, containing small dark or black dots.
These dots maintain contrast while diffusing the high lights. The effect of the black fog filter is very small and is determined by the amount of high lights in your photo. If you have very even light, then you hardly notice it, but the more bright light sources you get in the picture, the more the effect becomes visible.
It's like a kind of haze that appears over the shots without affecting the sharpness of the photo. In addition, Kase filters have precise IR coatings that provide true neutral color.

How does the Kase Armour system work?
Thanks to the magnetic attachment, you can smoothly slide the gradient filter up or down, allowing you to place the gradient exactly on the horizon in your image. This way you can better balance the light that is present. The magnetic filter is placed tightly against your lens, preventing unwanted reflections caused by light from the side.
The holder and filter frames of the Armor series are magnetic, making it possible to place multiple filters on top of each other. Separate magnetic frames are available to also use your current 2mm square filters on this simple, super handy magnetic Armor system.
